Biography

Dr. Lindsey Stevenson has had a passion for immunology since taking her first immunology class at Liberty University, during her undergraduate Biochemistry degree. After that, she pursued a Ph.D. in immunology at North Carolina State University, where she studied flaviviruses, including West Nile and Dengue Virus, and the generation of aptamers. At NC State, Dr. Stevenson discovered her love of teaching and was blessed to be able to return to Liberty to pursue that goal. Since that time, Dr. Stevenson has taught a range of subjects, including General Biology, Biology Seminar, Microbiology, and Immunology.
