Students Today, Alumni Tomorow

Students Today, Alumni Tomorrow (STAT) is a program that exists to provide opportunities for current students to network with Liberty Alumni, experience and promote the traditions of Liberty, and get involved in our community.

Green Cord Campaign

Each year, the graduating class leaves their mark at LU through the Green Cord Campaign. This is the senior class members’ way of leaving a legacy at their alma mater as they finish their time as an undergraduate student.

As soon-to-be alumni, we invite you to celebrate Commencement this year with a donation to the 2018 Green Cord Campaign. Show your appreciation for the opportunities and experiences made available to you while at LU. Become a part of a tradition that shows your graduating class values the education you have been privileged to receive. For a donation of $40.00, you will receive a green cord to wear with your Commencement regalia.

Our goal this year is to have 100% participation from the Senior Class for this year’s gift. Together, the 2018 graduating class can leave a lasting legacy at Liberty University!

Senior Convocation

Every year, the Alumni Relations Office welcomes the graduating seniors into the alumni family with Senior Convocation. It is an exciting time of worship, encouragment, giveaways, refreshments and celebrating the accomplishments of the graduating class.

The key note speakers have been influential alumni such as Samkon Gado, Samantha Ponder, Cabot Phillips, and the Benham Brothers. The speakers encourage the graduating seniors to continue to be Champions for Christ as they go out into the world!

For the 2017 graduating class, Cabot Phillips and Dr. Ben Gutierrez spoke to the senior class. Phillips 16' spoke about his experiences with Fox News and Campus Reform. Phillips gave advice from a recent graduate's perspective. Gutierrez encouraged the seniors to keep Christ as the goal in their future endeavors.
