Alumni Legacy Scholarship Information
The Alumni Legacy Scholarship is open to new residential undergraduate students with a parent or guardian who earned an undergraduate degree or higher from Liberty University. The parent/guardian could have completed a residential or online degree. Certificates are not eligible for the scholarship.
An award of $1,000 is given per year for up to four years. All eligible applicants may receive only one Alumni Legacy Scholarship award, regardless if more than one parent/guardian earned an undergraduate degree or higher from Liberty University.
Alumni Legacy Scholarship Eligibility
- For new residential undergraduate students with a parent or guardian who earned an undergraduate degree or higher from Liberty University (Parent or guardian could have completed a resident or online degree. This does not include certificates.)
- Must be a full-time consecutively enrolled degree-seeking student
- Must maintain Financial Aid Satisfactory Academic Progress while enrolled at Liberty
- Must complete the FAFSA each year and VTAG application (as applicable)
- Transfer students are eligible
- Complete the Alumni Legacy Scholarship application prior to freshman year of enrollment
- Must be a federally dependent child as defined by the U.S. Department of Education
- Current students who did not receive this scholarship upon matriculation are not eligible
