Each day will feature a unique event designed to bring fun, food, and connection to your commuter experience, leading up to our grand finale: the first-ever Commuter Life Gala! Monday, March 17 – St. Patty’s Pop-Up

Kick off Commuter Appreciation Week with a pop-up event packed with festive fun! Drop by the Commuter Lounge for St. Patrick’s Day-themed treats, vibrant decorations, and a chance to win small prizes with a lucky spin of the prize wheel.
Tuesday, March 18 – Curbside Café
📍 8 AM – 11 AM | Academic Commons Garage & North Campus Garage
We’re bringing the coffee and donuts straight to you! Swing by the Academic Commons Garage on Main Campus or the North Campus Garage on North Campus for a free morning pick-me-up and a card of appreciation from Commuter Life. A small gesture to brighten your commute!
Wednesday, March 19 – Nacho Average Lawn Party
📍 4 PM – 7 PM | Academic Lawn
It’s time to relax and refuel before Campus Community! Join us on the Academic Lawn for a tailgate-style evening with delicious walking tacos, lawn games, and music. Come for the snacks, stay for the fun, and then head over to Campus Community with your fellow commuters.
Thursday, March 20 – Commuter Discount Day

Friday, March 21 — Commuter Life Gala

The week concludes with the ultimate celebration—our inaugural Commuter Life Gala, the beginning of a new Liberty tradition! Step into an elegant evening dedicated to recognizing and celebrating commuter students at Amazement Square’s Genworth Education Center in Downtown Lynchburg. Dress in your finest attire, enjoy live jazz music, walk the red carpet for stunning photo ops, and indulge in a night of hors d’oeuvres and unforgettable moments. Whether you’re coming with friends or looking to meet new ones, this is THE commuter event of the year!
