Kristen Dixon, MSN, RN

Biography
Professor Kristen Dixon is joining the Liberty University Nursing Faculty family as a full-time employee after teaching clinicals in the adjunct role since 2015. Her background consists of four years of critical care experience and 16 years of surgical services experience, all in the Centra hospital system. Kristen grew up in Lynchburg, went to LCA, and graduated from Liberty with both her undergraduate and graduate degrees. Kristen has a loving husband, two children, and two dogs. Kristen has a passion for educating new nurses to become loving, kind, and compassionate caregivers who demonstrate God’s love to their patients. “Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will repay him for his deed” Proverbs 19:17. “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me” Matthew 25:40.
