Emily Young, MSN, RN
Biography
Professor Emily Young serves as an Assistant Professor in the undergraduate nursing program. She has a clinical background in Oncology and Medical-Surgical nursing. She has experience teaching in a variety of settings, including nursing simulation, clinical, skills lab, and both online and in-person classroom environments. Professor Young is passionate about bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and clinical application. She is dedicated to helping students build confidence and develop essential nursing skills through hands-on learning in simulation and clinical settings. She currently resides in Bedford County with her husband and two sons.
