Biography
Dr. Ellis graduated from Lynchburg College with her BSN in 1999 and her MSN from Liberty University in 2012. She obtained her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Liberty University, and her scholarly project was titled “Analyzing the Relationship between Non-Pharmacologic Interventions and Pregnancy-Induced Hypertension.” She has worked as a bedside nurse with extensive experience in both Med-Surg and Labor & Delivery. Dr. Ellis is also nationally certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner, completing this degree from the University of Virginia, with clinical practice experience in Urgent Care and Women’s Health. She continues to practice as a FNP given her passion for patient care, evidence-based practice, and improved patient outcomes.
