Liberty Law alumna Rachel Thompson (‘12), along with law partner Christine Poarch, were named as some of Virginia Business magazine’s Legal Elite for Immigration Law.
Both attorneys work at Poarch-Thompson Law, based in Salem, Virginia. Founded by Poarch as Poarch Law in 2003, the firm focuses on immigration and adoption law. Thompson joined the firm in 2012 and officially became a partner at the firm in 2019.
According to a press release from Poarch-Thompson about the recognition, Virginia Business launched the Legal Elite project in 2000 “in collaboration with the Virginia Bar Association, [and] each year Virginia Business asks lawyers to ‘identify which of their peers are the top attorneys in a variety of legal specialties.’”
