Experience
Professor Vorberger is an adjunct professor at Liberty University School of Law and an associate professor in the Helms School of Government, teaching both government and criminal justice courses. He is the faculty advisor to the Liberty University Undergraduate Law Review and assists in coaching the undergraduate moot court teams.
Prior to joining the faculty at the Helms School, Dr. Vorberger was general counsel to the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office (Greenville, SC), serving as the chief legal advisor to one of the largest law enforcement agencies in the state. Before serving as General Counsel, he was an assistant attorney general with the South Carolina Attorney General’s Office, focusing on civil litigation. While there, he litigated cases in both state and federal courts, at both the trial and appellate levels.
Professor Vorberger obtained his law degree from Liberty University School of Law. While in law school, he served as research assistant to Professor Barbara Massie Mouly, as vice president of the Federalist Society, and as vice chair of the Moot Court Board. In addition, Dr. Vorberger was selected by his peers to serve as editor-in-chief of the Liberty University Law Review. Upon graduation, he clerked for the Honorable Norman K. Moon, U.S. District Court Judge, Western District of Virginia.
