Biography

Susan Patrick serves as Associate Dean for Admissions and Financial Aid. She has worked with law students in various capacities since joining the Liberty University School of Law team in August of 2010. Dean Patrick graduated from Liberty University School of Law where she served as the Managing Editor of Business of the law review.

Dean Patrick started her career in legal education as the Director of Academic Support. While Director of Academic Support, Patrick worked with faculty to develop workshops designed to help students develop skills necessary for law school and the practice of law. Dean Patrick then stepped into a new role as the Director of the Center for Legal Writing. Patrick developed the Writing Center program including one-on-one practice problem reviews and essay writing workshops. In addition, she has taught Lawyering Skills I and II and developed numerous classes for the School of Law online programs, including several legal writing courses for paralegal, J.M. and LL.M. students.

Dean Patrick serves as the faculty advisor for Liberty University School of Law Women’s Law Society. She is licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Virginia and is a member of the Virginia State Bar as well as the Kappa Delta Pi International Honor Society in Education. Personally, Dean Patrick enjoys spending time with her husband Ryan and their two dogs Teddy and Franklin.
