Biography

Prof. Latrecia Jackson is a dedicated criminal defense attorney with a proven track record of advocating vigorously for clients facing a wide range of charges. She is the senior trial attorney at Lynchburg’s Public Defender’s Office. With a client-centered approach, she strategically challenges evidence, negotiates favorable plea agreements, and ensures that each client receives personalized and effective representation. Over the course of her career, Professor Jackson has successfully represented clients in multiple jury trials, securing wins in cases that span from simple possession to second-degree murder.
Personally, Professor Jackson enjoys cherishing moments with family. She also actively serves as a minister in her local church, contributing to community outreach and supporting ministries that align with her faith and values.
