Biography

Hannah Bowie, now a top-rated personal injury attorney, began her career in the mortgage industry, starting as a receptionist and quickly making her way up the ranks to her ultimate position as a loan officer. But then the economy crashed in 2008, just as Bowie suffered a devastating personal loss. Together, those experiences caused her to rethink her life, leading her to the realization that she felt called to the practice of law. She enrolled at Liberty University, where she obtained both her bachelor’s degree and her law degree.

Prof. Bowie has spent her entire career practicing personal injury law. She has received training on a national level from a variety of programs, including the Gerry Spence Method. After several years working for another law firm, Prof. Bowie, along with Liberty Law graduate Cameron Andrews, founded Summit Law. Summit Law is a boutique civil trial and litigation firm, located in Lynchburg and practicing statewide, where she focuses on representing personal injury, wrongful death, and sexual assault victims.
