Biography
Daniel Mowry was born in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. From an early age, he knew that he wanted to practice law to serve his community. He attended James Madison University for his undergraduate degree in business management and then moved forward with his goal of becoming an attorney by attending Liberty University School of Law.
Prof. Mowry is a currently a partner in the firm Nelson, McPherson, Summers & Santos, L.C., in Staunton, Virginia, where he focuses on criminal defense, family law, civil litigation, and local government law. He serves as counsel to Departments of Social Services and takes satisfaction in ensuring the protection of the most vulnerable.
Prof. Mowry and his wife Sarah reside in Augusta County with his young son. When Prof. Mowry is not in the courtroom or classroom, you may find him in the surrounding mountains enjoying God’s creation.
