Biography
Prior to joining the Liberty University School of Law faculty, Prof. Watt worked for over a decade for the world’s largest management-side labor and employment law firm representing employers in a wide variety of employment law issues, ranging from defending class-action wage and hour lawsuits to advising on performance management concerns and disability and religious reasonable-accommodation issues. Her practice focused on advice and counsel to clients of varying sizes, including several Fortune 500 companies, across multiple industries. She regularly prepared materials and served as an instructor for client training on a variety of employment law topics.
Prof. Watt earned her Juris Doctor from Liberty University School of Law. Professor Watt is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts of Arizona and Colorado and the U.S. Courts of Appeal for the Ninth and Tenth Circuits. She is licensed to practice law in Arizona and Colorado and is a member of the Arizona and Colorado state bars and the American Bar Association.
