Admission into the B.S. in Public Health – Community Health Promotion does not guarantee admission into Liberty’s M.P.H. program. Fourth-year students will need to meet additional requirements to begin the graduate-level coursework.

Liberty University’s Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) program gives you access to facilities and resources such as:

Hands-on Opportunities and Research
You’ll gain hands-on experience by participating in tabletop and simulation exercises with community public health professionals and stakeholders to address a public health problem.
The M.P.H. curriculum requires you to complete a minimum of 120 hours of practical fieldwork in a public health practice setting to meet program requirements. With the M.P.H. practicum, you’ll be able to apply the knowledge and skills you learn in the classroom to real-world experiences in the field under the direction of a preceptor/supervisor and with guidance from the Director of Practicum.
During this program, you will also have opportunities for research including:
- Development of a health promotion program that can be implemented and evaluated
- Participate in public health program evaluation research
- Travel abroad to implement a health promotion program as part of your practicum
- In-country public health research opportunities
