Biography
Dr. Martin enters the exercise science faculty following research positions at Washington University in St. Louis and the University of Florida where he gained expertise in the interplay between skeletal muscle health, exercise, and circadian rhythms. His background is rooted in exercise science with field-based experience in strength and conditioning, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, and exercise prescription for healthy populations. Dr. Martin seeks to utilize his research and practical skills to lead students into productive leaders within their respective fields and continue to uncover the dynamic interactions between circadian rhythms and exercise.
