Biography
Dr. Brubaker began his journey at Liberty University in the fall of 1998 as an undergraduate student-athlete on the baseball team. After earning his degree in 2002, he launched his teaching career as a physical and health education teacher in the Virginia Public School system. Over the next five years, he taught middle school health and physical education and coached high school baseball and girls basketball.
In 2007, Dr. Brubaker returned to Liberty University to join the Department of Allied Health Professions, where he has served as a full-time faculty member ever since. He has led the Physical Education & Health program as its Program Director since 2013 and currently serves as Chairman of the department.
Dr. Brubaker is passionate about equipping future physical education and health teachers to impact students’ lives both academically and spiritually in school communities across the country.
