Biography
Dr. Laurie Rice serves as a full-time faculty member and an Associate Dean in the School of Education. She began her career in Lynchburg City Schools as an elementary teacher, later becoming a middle school teacher with a focus on Civics and Physical Science. She transitioned to higher education as a supervisor working with student teaching candidates and later the Director of Online Student Teaching. In her current role, she enjoys collaborating with faculty and staff to help School of Education students fulfill their calling in the field of Education.
