Non-Licensure
The School of Education through Liberty University Online offers several programs at the post-graduate level. The Education Specialist program prepares candidates to be competent, effective leaders with a Christian worldview who will model high standards and assume a leadership role in the field of education. Leaders in the field of education are seen as those who assume a facilitating role in accomplishing the goals and objectives of an education system, whether it be as a teacher, superintendent, principal, curriculum director, instructional supervisor, or university administrator.
This is a non-licensure program.

Licensure Information
Candidates on a 2019-20 or previous Degree Completion Plan may pursue an optional licensure endorsement by following the requirements on the final page of the Degree Completion Plan. Requirements for licensure include additional courses, exams, and other state-approved requirements.
