Non-Licensure
The Doctor of Education program prepares candidates to be competent, effective leaders with a Christian worldview who will model high standards and assume a leadership role in the field of education.
This is a non-licensure program.

- EDUC 880 must be the final non-capstone course taken.
- Elective courses may require field experience.
- 3.0 GPA
- Capstone Information
- All non-capstone coursework must be completed before starting EDUC 880.
- Ed.D. students are allowed to enroll in EDUC 887, 888, 889 a maximum of two times. Extensions for exceptional circumstances must be approved by the School of Education.
- Enrollment in EDUC 890 is contingent on School of Education approval.
- Starting with EDUC 880, candidates must continuously enroll in capstone coursework until the final defense. Candidates who break enrollment will be required to re-apply.

Licensure Information
This program does not lead to state licensure or certification. Candidates in this program are not eligible to pursue a student teaching or internship semester.
Transfer Credit
View the doctoral transfer policies. Capstone courses are not eligible to be transferred.
