Biography
Prior to joining Liberty in April 2019, Sarah served as a Foreign Affairs Officer at the U.S. Department of State (DOS) in the Office of Weapons of Mass Destruction and Terrorism. During her over 14 years with DOS Sarah designed a federal program to engage countries to counter the smuggling of nuclear and radioactive material, implemented over 45 international projects, established collaborative relationships with other U.S. agencies, and engaged former weapons scientists in the Former Soviet Union and Libya to transition them to peaceful careers. Sarah also served as an analyst for the Defense Threat Reduction Agency to inform government officials of arms control treaty information.
Sarah holds a B.A. from Patrick Henry College in Government/Strategic Intelligence and enjoys continually learning about everything from nuclear forensics to low-tox living to developing new recipes in the kitchen.
