Dr. Courtney Evans specializes in child/adolescent counseling as well as trauma counseling. She has worked at a non-profit agency, serving victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. In addition, she has worked for a county agency serving children and adolescents referred by the Department of Social Services for child abuse or neglect as well as youth who are court ordered for counseling by the Department of Juvenile Justice. She owns a private practice, specializing in Christian counseling. Her teaching and research interests include the areas of child/adolescent counseling, rural mental health, behavioral addictions, trauma counseling, and Adlerian theory.
