The Liberty University Summer Spanish Institute is one of the department’s pedagogically most dynamic programs. Through intensive summer programs conducted in Guatemala, you will both teach English as a Foreign Language and study Spanish in linguistic and cultural immersion experiences.
This degree is offered through the Department of Modern Languages.
Teach Spanish with Your B.Ed. Degree
Turn your passion for the Spanish language into a fulfilling teaching career. With a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree in Spanish Education P-12, you can get the licensure you need to teach in this field.
CLEP and Spanish Placement Test
If you have prior language study, consider CLEP for lower-level language credits.
You also have the option of taking the Spanish Placement Test. Unlike the CLEP, the Placement Test will not give course credit for any courses that students place out of. Email modernlanguages@liberty.edu with your name and Liberty ID to sign up for the Placement Test.
