Area of Study in International Law
In today’s global economy, international legal relations are becoming more prevalent and more important. At Liberty Law, you can prepare for a career in international law through courses that teach you to represent clients in both national and international courts. You will also learn how to advise domestic and international organizations engaged in protecting and advancing fundamental human rights, particularly the right to religious freedom.
To earn your Area of Study in International Law, you must complete the following courses with a grade of B- or higher.
- International Law
- Immigration Law
- International Business Transactions
- International Human Rights
Those courses are taught by experts in the field who have extensive global and multicultural experience. You also have the opportunity to participate in the following:
- International organizations
- Nongovernmental organizations
- Governmental entities
- Law firms and other institutions that address international legal relations
An audited course cannot be used to satisfy an area of study requirement.
