Trial Advocacy Program

Area of Study in Trial Advocacy

Liberty Law offers a comprehensive trial advocacy program. Begin your trial skills training in your second year and engage in more intense training through the trial team program. You will gain the skills to conduct a full jury trial, exploring the philosophy and strategies involved in dealing with juries.

In order to receive an Area of Study in Trial Advocacy, you must complete each of the following courses with a grade of B- or higher.

  • Evidence
  • Lawyering Skills IV
  • Trial Advocacy
  • Advanced Trial Advocacy or Trial Team
  • Federal Jurisdiction, Conflict of Laws, or Remedies (choose one)

Electives (choose one)

  • Appellate Advocacy
  • Advanced Appellate Advocacy (Moot Court team)
  • Mediation 

An audited course cannot be used to satisfy an area of study requirement.
