Steps to Apply With Us

1. Apply Early

Spots fill quickly, and deadlines approach fast. We’ve streamlined the process to help you easily find and apply for upcoming trips.

Browse current group travel opportunities.
View application deadlines.
Create your profile – this helps us match you with the best travel programs based on your interests, major, and goals.

2. Create Your Profile & Explore Programs

Once you’ve found the right program for you, select the term information tab and hit “apply now” for the term that works best for you!

3. Submit Your Application

Complete and submit your application

4. Application Review

Your application will be reviewed by the primary leader responsible for your program. This could be a coach, trip leader, or LU Send staff member. We’ll check your eligibility, documents, and program fit.

5. Conditional Approval

If you meet the requirements for your program, you may be conditionally approved. This means you’re on track to participate, but you’ll need to complete a few more steps. LU Send will send you clear instructions and deadlines to help you move forward.

6. Accepted

Once your application is fully approved, it’s your turn to decide! Confirm your interest by committing to the program.

7. Committed

By committing, you’ve officially secured your spot and agreed to your trip’s payment plan. From here, LU Send will finalize your travel details and guide you through the next steps. You’ll begin completing VIA Travel Plan forms, making payments, and finalizing trip logistics to prepare for departure.
