Introduction
Liberty University is committed to preparing cybersecurity leaders, increasing cybersecurity capabilities, and encouraging cybersecurity awareness and interest in the public and private sectors. The Liberty University Center for Cyber Excellence was established to formalize and coordinate these activities.
Vision
The Liberty University Center for Cyber Excellence is dedicated to cultivating a future where champions for Christ are the subject matter experts leading in every field of cybersecurity, in all sectors and industries, to the glory of God alone.
Mission
The Center for Cyber Excellence at Liberty University is dedicated to developing educational environments and opportunities to train champions for Christ in the field of cybersecurity.
Goals
- Encourage cybersecurity students to holistically submit to the Word of God and abide in Christ.
- Advance cybersecurity educational opportunities in Higher Education and K-12 schools.
- Promote cybersecurity awareness and interest in the greater Lynchburg area and nationally.
- Facilitate opportunities for faculty and student research to advance the discipline of cybersecurity.
