Biography

Dr. Linder was born and raised in the State of Texas (the “Oak Cliff” part of Dallas) and currently lives in Midlothian Texas (South of Dallas).

After a few interesting jobs such as designing and installing sound systems in churches and schools, building and racing hot rod cars (high school and college) and then eventually being a student pastor for 9 years he moved to the field of counseling. His dissertation was on the factors that impact an early career counselor’s choice of theory. He is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors, Texas Counseling Association and Christian Counselors of Texas.

When he is not seeing clients or teaching, he raises cattle in the Hill Country of Texas (where his family has ranched there since the 1880s).  He also consults on the pastoral staff and is Director of Security and Public Safety at his church.
