Biography

Dr. Natae Feenstra is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Counselor Education and Family Studies for Liberty University. Dr. Feenstra has worked in the counseling field for over 15 years, many of those as a school counselor. Her clinical work includes private practice, with expertise in walk-and-talk and Running Therapy. Dr. Feenstra’s professional research interests include movement and mental health, holistic health, trauma, and wellness. She contributes to the profession through research, writing, and speaking at conferences. Her research has been presented on an international level.

Dr. Feenstra currently serves as a Chapter Faculty Advisor (CFA) for the Chi Sigma Iota Rho Eta online student chapter Rho Eta Sigma.
