Biography
Dr. Melody Weber received her Masters degree in Professional Counseling from Southeastern University and her PhD in Counselor Education & Supervision from Loyola University Maryland. In addition to teaching in the Department of Counselor Education & Family Studies at Liberty University, she is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in her home state of Maryland. She has worked with clients to address a variety of concerns including anxiety, depression, life transitions, spiritual struggle, spiritual integration, work life balance, and career exploration. Her research interests include topics that inform counselor resilience, including compassion satisfaction, burnout, sense of community, and self-care as well as topics that explore the integration of spirituality and mental health such as sanctification of work, self-compassion, and spiritual and religious coping.
