Biography

Dr. Karen Roudkovski is a licensed professional counselor (LPC-S) in the state of Louisiana. She specializes in trauma, spiritual abuse, and anxiety. Dr. Roudkovski is the author of Understanding Spiritual Abuse: What It Is and How to Respond, The Spiritual Abuse Assessment, and the Spiritual Abuse Recovery Workbook: Engaging Faith in Healing. Her most recent book, Reframing Anxiety (May 2026), explores understanding and addressing anxiety through a clinical and faith-informed lens. She is a member of the Louisiana Counseling Association, American Association of Christian Counselors, Christian Association for Psychological Studies, EMDR International Association, American Counseling Association, and Association for Spiritual, Ethical, and Religious Values in Counseling.
