Biography
Dr. Kuehne has a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from Liberty University. She holds professional licenses in the state of North Carolina and the District of Columbia. She received a Master of Arts degree in Mental Health Counseling focusing on the deaf and hard of hearing population from Gallaudet University.
Dr. Kuehne has a background in clinical mental health counseling, college counseling, school-based therapy, family and couples therapy, and clinical supervision. Prior to joining the Liberty University faculty, she has worked as an assistant professor and served as an adjunct faculty member. Her research interests include counseling within the Deaf community, addiction families, law and ethics in counseling, grief counseling, and counselor education pedagogy.
