Biography
Dr. Hanna Cespedes is a Licensed Professional Counselor, clinical supervisor, and consultant passionate about supporting both clients and future helping professionals. She is the CEO of her private practice with three locations, all devoted towards cultivating peace and mental health support for a diverse client population.
Her teaching and supervision emphasize the integration of attachment theory and is rooted in the developmental model along with emphasis on cultivating resilience in the counseling profession. She draws on her research interests in attachment theory, psychodynamic theory, and advocacy for those living with Severe Mental Illness as well to enhance classroom learning and clinical application.
As a Catholic, Dr. Cespedes finds her vocation of service as a counselor educator deeply connected to her faith. She views the work of counseling as a calling to accompany others with compassion, dignity, and hope, and encourages students to integrate their own spiritual values into their professional development.
Above all, Dr. Cespedes is committed to training counselors and leaders who will bring peace, excellence, and compassionate service to the communities they serve.
