Biography
Dr. Hull is a Professor of Counselor Education and Family Studies at Liberty University. He has been a licensed counselor since 2003 and a counselor educator and supervisor since 2009. Dr. Hull has specialized clinical training in EMDR, Gottman Method Couples Therapy (Level 2), Interpersonal Neurobiology and Attachment, and treating addictions including sexual addiction. He has been elected to the national boards for CACREP, ASERVIC, ACES, and currently serves as Division Chair – elect for ACCESS (a division of CAPS). Dr. Hull authored Developing Spiritual Competencies: Workbook For Helping Professionals and Students and has written textbook chapters in Christian Integration in Counselor Education and Homeschooling and Mental Health. He continues to speak and write on spiritual competencies in counseling and supervision, counselor development and disposition, spiritual abuse and religious trauma, and emotionally healthy masculinity.
