Biography

Dr. Crosland is from John’s Island, SC.  Dr. Crosland graduate from College of Charleston with a BS in Psychology and graduated from Southwestern College in Santa Fe, New Mexico with a Master’s Degree in Art Therapy. Dr. Crosland began her career utilizing creative tools in counseling diverse populations including Native American tribes, Aboriginal tribes in Australia as well as rural and urban communities in SC. Dr. Crosland’s experience includes addiction counseling with various populations and levels of care in addition to community counseling, private practice mental health counseling and clinical supervision.

After many years providing counseling, specializing with substance use disorders, Dr. Crosland completed a PhD degree in Counselor Education and Supervision to enhance counseling support through quality counselor education and supervision. Dr. Crosland values quality education and supervision to enhance self-efficacy and competency for counseling skills to support counselors following their calling to serve others through mental health counseling.

Dr. Crosland is active in global mission and community outreach. Dr. Crosland strives to live life intentionally, being attentive to discerning God’s call and direction in life.
