Advertising Team Practicum
Liberty University participates in the National Student Advertising Competition (NSAC), sponsored by the American Advertising Federation (AAF).
The Advertising Team comprises an elite group of students with the passion and drive to put their education into practice!
There is no better way to learn about the advertising campaign process than by actually developing a campaign for a real client. The National Student Advertising Competition is the premier college advertising competition that provides more than 2,000 college students with the real-world experience of creating a strategic advertising/marketing/media campaign.
Previous clients include Indeed, Meta Quest, Bose, Coca-Cola, Snapple, Nissan, Pizza Hut, Tai Pei, Ocean Spray, Adobe, etc.
Each year, a corporate sponsor (client) provides a case study reflecting a real-world marketing challenge. Students must research the product and its competition, identify potential problem areas, and devise a completely integrated campaign for the client. Each student team then “pitches” its campaign to a panel of judges. Judging is conducted by professionals in the advertising industry, client representatives, and client advertising agencies.
Over the past seven years, Liberty University’s team has risen to one of the top-performing teams in the nation.
