Biography
Duane Martin serves as an Assistant Professor for the ASLI program at Liberty University and a Deaf pastor of Wayne Hills Deaf Church at Wayne Hills Baptist Church in Waynesboro, VA. He teaches American Sign Language courses. He has specialized in this area with a focus on their functional grammar, basic vocabulary, and practical conversational skills. Today, Professor Duane Martin enjoys working with undergraduate students who are seeking to socialize with other Deaf people in the Deaf community while developing fluency in understanding and expressing the language.
