Community Groups
What are Community Groups?
Community groups are held weekly, on Wednesday nights following Campus Community. Centered on prayer, confession, and repentance, gathering in smaller groups allows a student to ask the question, “How does the truth we all heard in Campus Community apply in my life?” There is no greater setting for the development of meaningful relationships, accountability, and discipleship than community groups.
Become a Community Group Leader
Community Group Leaders (CGL’s) lead community groups, which is usually comprised of five-to-seven students on their residence hall or in a commuter group setting. Throughout the week CGL’s are encouraged to develop strong relationships, pray, and foster a community of Christ-centered discipleship among the students in their group.
Are you a Commuter Student that has a desire to get or stay connected spiritually through a community of your fellow students? Get plugged into a Commuter Community Group. Groups meet throughout the week, all over the city of Lynchburg. You can connect with a group based on the day of the week that it meets or where it meets in town. You can also connect with a group that caters to males, females, or that is co-ed.
