Social Work Tree

Make a difference in the world by gaining the knowledge, values, and skills you need to help enhance lives. Liberty’s Department of Social Work prepares you to offer healing hope to individuals, families, and communities both nationally and internationally.

Earn your Bachelor of Science in Social Work degree (BSW) and gain 500 hours of practical experience. Learn from faculty grounded in the Christian faith and experienced in child services, mental health, program development, and research. Our program is currently in Candidacy status in the accreditation process with the Council on Social Work Education.

Students in Liberty’s Social Work program are trained to understand the economic, psychological, and social issues facing at-risk members of society. Equipped with the tools to succeed and the conviction to make a difference, our graduates will work to improve communities and organizations, helping people build better lives.

The Department of Social Work offers the BSW in both online and residential formats.
