2027 Conference on Teaching Excellence: Call for Proposals

This academic year’s January Professional Development, 2027Conference on Teaching Excellence, will take place on Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2027. The day will feature a virtual conference, providing faculty with an opportunity to present and attend sessions.

2027 Conference on Teaching Excellence Theme: The Way: Know it, walk it, teach it!

This year’s Call for Proposals focuses on the need for steadfastness in our mission and calling as Christian educators; be it research, best practices, new strategies, technologies, Biblical Worldview Integration, or student support services. The internal Call for Proposals is open until Thursday, October 15. Faculty can apply to present:

  • Academic Posters [JPEG, PNG, PPT, PDF accepted]
  • Academic/Research Papers [PDF or DOC accepted]
  • Live Workshops [live via MS Teams, 30 min., CTE creates link]
  • Round Tables [live via MS Teams, 30 min., CTE creates link]
  • Video Recording of Workshops or Projects [5-30 min., upload to Kaltura, provide link]
  • Adobe Express Webpage presentations [provide link]
  • Website [provide link]

Note: For faculty who are accepted to present synchronous live workshops or round tables, MS Teams links will be provided (by CTE) via Outlook appointments and in the 2027 Conference on Teaching Excellence course shell in Canvas. Those who are accepted for asynchronous presentations (posters, papers, video recordings, Adobe Express Webpage presentations, or websites) will receive a link to submit their materials in advance of the conference.
