Introduction to CSER
CSER exists to train students at Liberty University to apply a biblical worldview as servant leaders, to transform their communities for the glory of Christ, and to use their academics and passions to win at work. Philippians 2:4-5; Matthew 28:19-20.

Christian/Community Service (CSER) is a community service graduation requirement for all students at Liberty University. Each semester, students should attempt to complete their CSER graduation requirements.
Missional Living
Missional Living refers to common people living a common life, leveraging their gifts and influence with great intentionality while favoring the gospel. The CSER program is about building relationships, sharing your faith, and serving the community.

CSER Application
The CSER Application is a comprehensive platform designed to help you manage your existing CSER opportunities and explore new ones. It is your home for all things CSER–including registrations and evaluations. Students and supervisors can complete their pending tasks within the CSER Application.
We recommend using Google Chrome on a computer to access the CSER Application.

CSER 100 Introductory Course
CSER 100 is a free, online Canvas course developed by LU Serve to educate students about the CSER program at Liberty University.
All new and transfer students are automatically enrolled at the beginning of their first semester (Fall/Spring). If you are a returning student who still needs to take CSER 100, consider taking it to equip you with the knowledge to serve effectively in the community. Students who complete this course with 100% accuracy will receive one CSER credit toward their graduation requirements.

Find A CSER
Finding a CSER opportunity is as easy as logging in to the CSER Application and selecting “Find an Opportunity.” You can use the various filters to narrow your search.
Below are some specific types of organizations you will find in the CSER Application.
CSER Now
A wide variety of organizations are looking for CSER students, both in-person and remote, right now. Organizations looking for help can advertise an immediate need.
CSER By Major
LU Serve partners with every school at Liberty University to provide students with a CSER experience that will benefit their course of study.

Are you unable to find an organization? Submit a request to begin the approval process. If approved, you will be able to submit a registration in the CSER Application.
