Our Service Learning Model
Service Learning is designed as an assignment replacement, integrating seamlessly into an existing course. Our Service Learning model consists of three main sections:
Pre-Service Reflection: This assignment consists of about 30 pages of reading and a 4-page pre-flection paper.
Service Project: A community service project at a local nonprofit in which the service correlates with in-class instruction.
Post-Service Reflection: A 5-page reflection paper that utilizes the 4 Cs of critical reflection.
