August 4-10: Percussion and Color Guard Move-in, Orientation, Camp.

August 10: Full Band Camp Move-in (Brass & Woodwinds), Full Band Check-in, Freshmen Band Member & Family Orientation, Wind Part Auditions

August 10-17: Full Band Camp

August 17: End of camp preview performance (pm)

August 31: Home Football Game (halftime to WEST side)

September

September 14: Home Football Game, Homecoming / Alumni Band, Halftime to WEST side

September 21: Home Football Game (halftime was canceled due to lightning delays)

October

October 8 (Tuesday): Home Football Game (halftime to EAST side)

October 19: Exhibition at Lord Botetourt HS

October 30: (Wednesday) Home Football Game (halftime to EAST side)

November

November 2: Virginia State Championship VMBC marching band competition (4:00 pm & 10:45pm performances by the SOTM)

November 23: Home Football Game (Band Parents Day / Senior Recognition game–more info coming)
Military Appreciation Show / Senior Day (Military Appreciation Halftime show to West & a special Post-game show of our “Tune In” show to the West side)

December 6 (Friday): 8pm (hold open for CUSA Conference Championship Game)
If home, Band performs halftime to the West Stands, if away, the SOTM band will travel to this.

* Additional travel to Playoff and/or Bowl Game. Any dates (usually 3-5 days) between Dec. 13, 2024 and January 2, 2025

See the band warm-up prior to Kick-off! The band performs a pre-game warm-up at the Flames Fan Fest area near the stadium. All are welcome! Tickets not required to see our warmup, but you will need football tickets to see the pre-game show 20 minutes before halftime.
