Prepare for a Healthcare Profession
Prepare for medical school with the Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences degree program. Develop the necessary skills to succeed in the study of medicine. Or, prepare to teach at the post-secondary level in a related discipline.
You can also advance your career in private industry with the skills you’ll learn with a Biomedical Sciences master’s degree. All students in the M.S. Biomedical Sciences program participate in a full cadaver dissection.
The M.S. Biomedical Sciences program may be completed in one year or two years. Students may complete the one year program in 2 semesters (fall/spring). You may start the program in August (fall).
The M.S. in Biomedical Sciences is offered through the Department of Biology & Chemistry.
Biblical Application to Medicine
The M.S. in Biomedical Sciences is taught from a biblical, Christian worldview and speaks to numerous issues in medicine, including beginning-of-life and end-of-life questions.
Our graduate program also requires a three-credit course in Biomedical Ethics in order to equip you to apply biblical principles to medicine.
