Residential Minor in Physical Education & Health

Develop your physical and health education skills and leadership abilities through the Physical Education & Health Minor at Liberty University. Here, you can build your knowledge of physical activity and health while developing the skills to teach and advocate for healthy lifestyles in schools and communities.

This minor includes targeted coursework covering topics such as:

  • Physical education methods
  • Health concepts
  • Activity-based classes


Get hands-on learning and practice in physical activity instruction in our on-campus facilities.
You’ll have the opportunity to develop skills through teaching demonstrations, applied projects in fitness and wellness programming, and physical education or recreational programming. Study with professors who have coaching, athletic training, and teaching experience.

This minor is open to students in any major. Course prerequisites apply.

The minor in Physical Education & Health is offered through the Department of Allied Health Professions.
