SA @ Nite

In celebration of the decade that capitalized on cartoons, boy bands and sitcoms, Liberty’s Office of Student Activities (SA) is hard at work preparing for the upcoming SA @ Nite event.

The ’90s-themed, approved late-night activity is set to take place Jan. 23 from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. in the Lahaye Event Space. Promising root beer floats, board games, karaoke and television shows such as “Boy Meets World” and “Full House,” the event is bound to bring feelings of nostalgia for many Liberty students.

Because most current college students were born in the ‘90s, the event aims to represent childhood.

“I watched a lot of Disney Channel movies,” Liberty junior Dominique Lopiccolo said. “My parents were really strict about music, but I really wanted to listen to Britney Spears and ‘N Sync.”

Although the 90s has come and gone, through the event, students now have the chance to reminisce about their childhood years while experiencing cartoons and old TV shows from a time not so long ago.
