Hello All!First off i wanna say it is awesome that you guys had the courage to go to the admins. and suggest a skatepark.I think Liberty is the best thing that has and will ever happen to Lynchburg.I do have a crucial and important question….as a a bmx rider.I have no where to go.Hyland Heights still remains closed,Amazement square does not allow bmx.and if they do,you have to “set up a date”.Bedford just opened one and I drove up there and they shut me down….once again,no bikes allowed……Am i missing something here?My question is,will u allow this to the public.annual or daily fees dont matter,I JUST WANNA RIDE!!!!Please reply.Im willing to help with anything.

I can’t give you any definite answer yet, but I believe our videographer, Levi Washburn, is going to do a follow-up video on the skate park soon. I did ask him to find out when he goes to interview for it.

thanx man.i appreciate your response.but ive already heard.publics not allowed….awesome.once again.i dont understand why.the misconception that a “skate”park is just for skaters is completely dumb.its discrimination that bmx is not allowed.if i was to go about getting into libertys new park.what would be the first steps?i mean ill sign a waiver or whatever

Sorry, I don’t know what to tell you. You can try talking to somebody when it officially opens and see about getting it approved. That would probably be your best bet.

You’re welcome. I would go to the folks at LaHaye and see what they can tell you. Maybe they can help or at least point you to the right person to ask.
