Testing Services

Students no longer need to make an appointment. Testing Services operates on a first-come, first-served basis. Students requiring a room or reader due to ODAS accommodations will need to contact Testing Services by email at testingservices@liberty.edu at least 48 hours in advance.

Liberty University offers a wide variety of tests to meet your technology needs. Our tests are available for both faculty & staff members, and the general public.

Our training and certifications are open to the LU community and regional professionals seeking to advance their knowledge and skills. Visit the Certification Testing page to learn more.

Members of the community and students who need to sign up for CLEP or other institute tests will need to sign up and schedule an appointment in the Testing Services Payment Portal to take these tests.

• All test fees are non-refundable.

Liberty University is an approved testing site for the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) Knowledge Tests and offers the FAA Airman Knowledge Tests for both aeronautic students and the public.

• At the beginning of each month, Testing Services publishes all available time slots for FAA testing for that month on the PSI website.
• A limited number of seats are available.
• Time slots are viewable to the public, and are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Note: The PSI website is an external testing vendor, so LU cannot prioritize or give preference to Liberty students.
• Test takes must bring a valid government-issued ID (i.e., passport, driver’s license, etc.), as well as any additional printed test verification needed.

Testing Services is approved to proctor exams from other institutions. There is a fee of $30 for each proctored exam. Students must pay their exam fee ahead of time using the Testing Services Payment Portal.

• All test fees are non-refundable.

Liberty University is an official computer-based testing center offering PRAXIS exams throughout the school year and summer. Praxis exam dates are set by the College Board, and as such cannot be changed by the Testing Center to accommodate a student’s needs.

Fees

All PRAXIS fees are paid during the registration process. PRAXIS candidates will not have to pay any fees other than the registration fee.

Registration Procedures

When you are ready to take the PRAXIS exam, follow these two steps:

1. Pay for the exam at www.ets.org/praxis – Make sure to print your admission ticket after you pay for your exam.
2. On your test day, come to the Testing Center with:
   • a form of ID – ID must have both a signature and your photo (e.g. passport, driver’s license) – student ID alone will not work
   • your registration ticket

That’s it! After following these three steps, you can take your exam.
