Biography

Master Sergeant Theodore Cox is a native of Corry, PA. He enlisted into the Army on 14 June 2010 and attended Basic Training at Fort Jackson SC, and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Sill, Oklahoma as a Patriot Fire Control Enhanced Operator / Maintainer. His assignments include 1-62 Air Defense Artillery Battalion, Fort Sill, OK; Mid-Atlantic Recruiting Battalion, NJ; 3-6 Air Defense Artillery Battalion, Fort Sill, OK; 2-6 Air Defense Artillery Battalion, Fort Sill, OK; 1-44 Air Defense Artillery Battalion Fort Hood, TX; 4-5 Air Defense Artillery Battalion, Fort Hood, TX; Liberty University ROTC, Lynchburg VA. He has deployed twice to the CENTCOM AOR.

MSG Cox’s leadership positions include: Fire Direction Center Team Leader, Fire Direction Center Section Chief, 14E Advanced Individual Training Instructor, Basic Officer Leader Course HIMAD Instructor, Fire Control Platoon Sergeant, Battalion Master Evaluator, First Sergeant, Senior Military Science Instructor.

MSG Cox’s awards and decorations include the Army Commendation Medal (6), Army Achievement Medal (5), Army Good Conduct Medal (4), the Humanitarian Service Award, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, NCO Professional Development Ribbon (4), Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Ribbon (2), Army Superior Unit Award, Senior Instructor Badge, Army Recruiter Badge as well as a member of the Order of Saint Barbara.

MSG Cox is married to Kiely Cox and has one son (Maverick) and one daughter (Penelope).
