City Council approves new voting precinct

On Tuesday night, Lynchburg City Council decided to redraw voting lines, creating a new precinct at Liberty University to be used by the 4,122 students currently living on campus and registered to vote in the city.

Liberty students have been voting in the Ward 3 precinct at Heritage Elementary School.

The change will take effect next year.
